Why Pompeii? Why Burn?

In 79 A.D., Mount Vesuvius erupted without warning.

The Roman city of Pompeii, once a thriving port of culture, commerce, and decadence, was buried in fire and ash. Lives were frozen in time. Statues melted. Markets collapsed. The gods said nothing.

There was no mercy. Only the burn.

The Pyre Burn is built on that moment — not as tragedy, but as transformation.

We draw from the mythology and destruction of Pompeii to represent everything wrong with Web3 today:

  • Dead coins.
  • Doomed roadmaps.
  • Empty promises.
  • Idolized influencers.
  • Cults of personality.

All of it gets reduced to ash here.

The burn is the ritual.

The numbers themselves hold ancient power:

Something approaches...

When the time comes, the true scale will be revealed.
Like Vesuvius in 79 A.D., some forces cannot be contained.

We do not rebuild. We do not fix.
We ignite. We burn it all down — together.

Whether you come to sacrifice, to watch, or to dance in the smoke… this is your invitation.
